This role supports the ambitious growth plans to further explore and develop the Philippines’ hydrocarbon resources, the planning of deepwater exploration wells and the acquisition and state-of-the-art reprocessing of seismic data within the next years.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, low cost, notional development concepts for stranded deepwater opportunities (using proven technologies) based upon global analogues and experience
- To introduce concepts and technologies new to the client by creating concept archetypes for future developments away from existing infrastructure (including but not limited to FLNG, FPSO, early production systems, mini-LNG)
- Opportunity identification and feasibility assessment of late life and/or stranded shallow water oil fields. Coordinate due diligence on proposals for utilization of third-party infrastructure
- Evaluate the potential for 3rd party tie-ins to existing Malampaya infrastructure (shallow water platform, gas export pipeline)
- Evaluate and screen farm-in opportunities across multiple Service Contracts, including data room visits, technical data gathering & analysis, notional development concepts and investment proposals
- Prepare Decision Quality based DRB submissions at Credibility, Value & Invest Decision Gates
Requirements
- Prior Technical Experience (15+ years)
- Deepwater development concepts for stranded fields (subsea tie backs, FLNG, FPSO, mini-LNG, unmanned facilities etc…..)
- Notional Field Development Plans (with cost estimates from benchmarking & market investigations)
- Area Development Plans for phased infrastructure development decision making
- Competitive scoping of projects and benchmarking of competitiveness
- Excellent leadership skills
- Multi-disciplinary collaboration with subsurface disciplines, wells, cost estimation & economics and a strong team player
- Ability to influence without direct accountability for staff or activities
- Effective communicator
- Track record of transparent communication/engagement to decision makers (including shareholders)
- Ability to coach/mentor younger staff
- Commercial Skills
- Established strong relationships with Service Companies and technology providers

Dimensions:
